What IS that stuff?

And where are all of the squirrels? Mr. Whiskers is confused. We woke up yesterday to our first snowfall this season. More is expected tonight. I love snow, but not this early. I still have peonies and bulbs to plant.

SIGH.

On the bright side, it will give me more time to write tomorrow.

Snow already!? I get a chill thinking about that. Can you still plant your bulbs?

Hi Annie. Yes, snow. It IS Minnesota, after all. I still have time to get the bulbs in later this week, but Dh is off tomorrow, so were going to do it then.

I am worried about the peonies, though.

Betsy, it is early, even for us. More has fallen today, and the dogs are thrilled.

HI Phylliso. Your wooly worm was spot on.

I'm glad you like my reading corner. I enjoy listening to the fountain and looking at green plants when everything is frozen outside.
